I think I've made it pretty clear by now that I, the Stylemonger, never turn down the opportunity to shop. Friday afternoon, and I could not resist casually asking Ms Shopaholic: "Urbanscapes tomorrow. We going?"

And that was how we found ourselves baking in the ungawdly heat of the Saturday afternoon sun at KLPAC.

We got there pretty early (12.30pm?), so we pretty much had the full run of the X Marketplace. Two minutes in, and lookit who we found!

There weren't a lot of people out and about at the start of the event, as you can see. The initial lack of crowds definitely detracted from the atmosphere, which in turn pretty much impacted the entire experience. I guess I was expecting the event to be more animated, and I was a touch disappointed on that front.

I spent a good five minutes trailing after the guy in the white shirt and checkered shorts (Unidentified Dude), in the hopes he'd turn around and I'd be able to nab a shot of his outfit guerilla-style. Under normal circumstances, I'd have marched up to him and demanded a photo. But the heat and my ever-increasing state of dehydration threw me off my game. Oh well.

It's always interesting to see the kind of clothes people put together for events like these. I felt that Fedora Girl deserved a special mention for the laidback, casual-but-not-sloppy vibe of her outfit. Plus points for the accessories! Makes me wish I didn't look so retarded wearing hats.
