Style Muse: Selma Blair

It's funny how your perspective shifts with age. Where once I hated looking different, I now find myself at a point in my life where I naturally gravitate toward it. After all, nothing is more abhorrent than holding yourself back just to blend in with the crowd. And Selma Blair has turned 'looking different' into an artform.

Hats off to Selma for being wildly, wonderfully inventive with her hair. She's proof that you don't need to do a whole helluva lot to change your look completely.

Though she generally flies under the radar, Selma deserves a closer look for her cool, I-don't-give-a-toss attitude towards style, as demonstrated in her ever-changing hairdos. It takes a brave soul to pull off a lot of the looks she's sported through the years!

It's unfortunate that Selma bears a stunning resemblance

to Stepford housewife Katie Holmes in this shot.

What makes Selma oh-so-very-interesting is her stylistic unpredictability. One minute, she's sporting a bob (which, by the way, has pretty much become her signature look). The next, she shows up looking like she's just gotten a weekend special at the Britney Spears House of Style. That aside, I give props where props are due. And lady, I send them to you by the truckload!
