I somehow managed – in between waking up late, gulping down vast quantities of coffee, and cleaning up after the pups – to make my way over to the third instalment of Pick & Grab at Hartamas this afternoon. I figured that, being as inspirationally broke as I have been the last few days, it would be a good opportunity to do a bit o' shopping, provide moral support to various people I knew who'd set up shop at the event, maybe find a few new labels to blog about, and take tons of photos.

Despite the ungodly heat (and the miserable rain that followed it), the crowd came out in full force, all of them eager to spend spend spend, all hopeful they'd find that oh-so-elusive bargain of a lifetime.

I saw this little princess at the stall next to Janyfer's. There was just something so charming about la petite ballerine and the way she carefully perused the wares on sale that I couldn't resist taking a picture of her. I love the way this photo turned out.

My only gripe is that there were simply too many clothes boutiques in attendance this time around. There were so few vendors selling shoes, bags, and accessories! After all, I'd fully intended to add to my ever-growing collection of waist cinchers, and yet I found myself having to look twice as hard for them (and even then, I wasn't very successful). Unacceptable, when each vendor had stacks of them waiting to be bought at the same event just a few months ago!

On a happier note, I finally managed to find street clothing label Our Happiness, in the flesh. Especially thrilling, since I've been dying to catch these guys in action for ages now! I bought two tees from them: one for myself, and one for Baby Sis (who I'm sure will appreciate the quirkiness of the designs!).

I loved these girls. Quite aside from the fact they were very obviously gorgeous (something The Football Fanatic didn't fail to immediately point out), they were chatty and had terrific taste in shoes. I'm totally diggin' the boho-meets-street vibe the girls had going on.
