Watching The Darjeeling Limited on telly last night reminded me of how much I loved the movie. Starring Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, and Adrien Brody as three brothers struggling to reconnect with each other while on a personal mission in India, the movie is vivid and evocative in terms of both scenery and plot-lines.

But what I dig most of all are the Marc Jacobs-designed monogrammed steamer trunks, duffels, and suitcases which frequently appear throughout the movie.

Designed for Louis Vuitton, the luggage pieces were made using aged calfskin, velvet lining, and an über-retro jungle pattern created by director Wes Anderson's brother Eric. Sadly for me, the pieces were later auctioned off with proceeds going to benefit UNICEF and the Rawal Mallinathji Foundation, a medical treatment charity in India. *sigh*
